I am Muriel, I imagine and create original watercolor and oil paintings.
In 2024, I created an art print brand, Luminare Mirabilis: an artistic company born between Paris and Versailles whose raison d'être is to offer the quality of original hand-painted pieces at an affordable price.

Drawing and painting have always been a part of my life, ever since childhood when I went to museums and there were paintings on the walls at home.
This keen interest continued into adolescence and adulthood. A common thread which, over the years, transformed into a practice of drawing and painting .
This practice became regular and serious in Berlin , where I lived for a year, until it became my main activity today with the desire to share this world.
2024, the year of the big leap
After fifteen years of drawing and ten years of artistic explorations, sharing workshops, meeting artists, and exhibitions, I wanted to devote myself fully to this activity .
The process
The process is always the same.
It all starts with inspiration : an atmosphere, a dream. I gather references online, in my books and in the library to nurture an original idea.
Next comes the pencil sketch, where I look for the composition and harmony of colors .
I paint on canvas or paper, after a thin layer of tinted or iridescent gesso, then I apply the flat areas before refining the details .

I am currently working on several series : landscapes, historical motifs, fantasy, animals, human figures and scenes of life.
As a follow-up, I would like to get more in touch with art lovers by participating in craft markets .
I am also considering collaborations with professionals , particularly around in situ decoration projects.
Finally, I am considering developing the narrative aspect, through forms such as graphic novels or comic strips .
The future remains to be painted… I hope you will be companions on this journey!
